One of the best appetizers I've ever had. Oakley store was right down the street…that was my morning today. ![]() This was the best cappuccino that I've ever had…and I drink 2-3 cappuccinos a day. I feel bad saying it because of my love for Small World in Princeton but this was slightly better. Drank it on the Pier in SF with chocolate-dipped macaroons…perfect. ![]() Kyle dragged me to a SF Giants game. I left after the first inning and got really lost on the way back to the hotel. Good thing because I needed some coffee and discovered Vietnamese Iced Coffee…wow. ![]() Garlic fries are popular here…I see why, so amazing. This was at a restaurant called Calzone's. ![]() Had no idea what I was about to taste… This was from a sandwich shop called Ike's Place. http://ilikeikesplace.com/ ![]() This is ridiculously good. Halal chicken, sweet orange glaze, avocado, pepper jack…damn good. On Wednesday, June 20 I attended the World Innovation Forum in New York to see the top speakers on innovation. They included Guy Kawasaki (by far the best speaker) and Sir Ken Robinson, my favorite speaker on education and creativity.
I stayed in the Marriott Marquis and had a great view of Times Square (below) For dinner I went to a revolving restaurant (yes, it actually spun around) on the 48th floor of the Marriott. Next trip: California! |
